Health Professionals
If you are interested in volunteering either
here in the United States or aboard AIDSail's ship in Central
America and the Caribbean, please forward your resume to volunteer@AIDSail.org.
AIDSail is looking for volunteer health
educators with the following qualifications and experience:
- HIV Prevention education
- HIV testing and Counseling
- Domestic Violence education and intervention
- Familiarity with culture of regions being served
- Bi-lingual (English, Spanish and/or dialects of Central America and Caribbean)
Preference will be given to individuals
with background and experience in public health (Physicians,
nurses, MPH, specialists in mental health, medical anthropology
and relevant social science and medical backgrounds), those
who are indigenous to regions being served or with experience
providing medical services in the region.
Hurricane Katrina Medical Volunteers
are still needed to provide medical care in Louisiana and
